About Moe Kalem

Opera, Turkish Saz and Luciano Ligabue... who would've thought that these ingredients would've made it onto a shelf in someone's home in this day and age? 

36 years old, sincere, relaxed and poised, when not in writing mode Moe is out in the workforce advocating for better workplace conditions as a Union Organiser empowering workers to become the leaders of tomorrow's industrial revolution.

Continuously growing his dimensions in the Trade Union movement as the industrial society modernises, focusing regard to workers, communities and groups who are vulnerable to cheap labour and exploitation, organising them, building solidarity and fighting corporate greed making his opposition to slavery from half a world away.  

In 2019 he resigned voluntarily to take an unscheduled career break due to major life events and its associated complexities.

Trilingual: English, Turkish and studied Italian language and culture at the Italian Institute (IIC) in Melbourne and intends on studying a fourth language. He enjoys web design and development, high end content creation, long walks, fitness, political science, art and foreign culture studies

During the domestic season he loves to watch European football. His favourite team is Fenerbahçe S.K. in Turkish Süper Lig along other clubs such as Borussia Dortmund in German Bundesliga, Manchester City in English Premier League, S.S.C. Napoli in Italian Serie A, Atlético Madrid in Spanish La Liga and F.C. København in Danish Superliga.

He loves to see his favourite tenor Andrea Bocelli perform a selection of his favourite operatic titles at his home town in Lajatico, Tuscany.

When he's doing neither of the above you'll find him on the couch watching the same movie over and over, watching documentaries about science, reading foreign novels and journals, studying language or travelling somewhere new.
